El Tour de Inmersión Cultural: Oaxaca

Running from April 26 to May 3 of 2025, this tour is a rewarding, community-forward experience designed for intermediate Spanish learners looking to practice and enhance their skills, but with opportunities for more advanced students to enjoy immersive cultural experiences. We will have people there to help with translation or whatever else may come up as needed. We’ve curated this journey to responsibly highlight the beauty and uniqueness of Oaxaca, while removing the stress of planning.

April 26 to May 3 is generally a good time for cultural engagement in Oaxaca with fewer tourists. This time falls after the busy Semana Santa period and before the onset of the summer tourist season, while the city is surrounded by wild flowers. You’ll likely experience a more relaxed atmosphere, making it easier to immerse yourself in local culture and engage more deeply with the community.

During this time, you can still enjoy the pleasant spring weather and partake in local activities and events that may not be as crowded as during peak times. It’s also an excellent period for visiting museums, cultural sites, and local markets without the usual crowds, allowing for a more personal and authentic experience.

April 26 Arrival day will be flexible so that people can arrive throughout the day and not miss anything essential.
